I often hear my friends talk about their initial days as trainees in big technology/software firms in India and abroad where they had to undergo a college like training environment followed in the manner of lectures and weekly tests as soon as they were hired from their campus itself. If you failed a certain number of weekly tests, you were thrown out of the training period and you simple lose the job. Recently I read a trainee's experience clearly highlighting an reason for which he was thrown out. Have you had similar experience? It is sometimes really embarassing when you top the class and get selected by a top tech firm and end up being judged unfit for the job. Thanks.
