Nautilus Drag into application

I have just picked up on web development again after a gap. Am not into tools, just give me emacs so I can see the code.

One issue I am having is that as Nautilus is stuck full screen I cannot drag a file into emacs, as nautilus is stuck on top.

I have tweak-ui installed and can unmaximise most things by clicking the title bar, but nautilus doesn't have one.

Is there any way of doing this?
