Bacula Server - 5.0.3-2
Fedora Core 13 64b
Clients for Bacula
FC 11-32b > FC 18-64b
Win xp-32b & 7-64b
Storage device is File aka save to disk. No tape drives.
On Pools
Volume Retention
Max Vol JObs
Max Vaols
No size limitations
The issue is it stopped compressing one day.
The next interesting thing is the compression ONLY stopped on the Linux machines, Windows machine (all of them) it still compresses.
I have googled around but only found on the zlib rpm to install... That would be possible if the Linux machines were rebuilt but since they have not "changed", would that not rule it out. BUT I checked and they have the zlib RPM installed.
greped through the log files but did not see anything in relation Bacula issues and/or relation to the compression stopping.
Any ideas?
