I was using the nouveau driver with my graphics card on Fedora 17. But the system often freezes so I just installed the nVidia driver.
With the nouveau driver Gnome 3 worked, now I get the message the Gnome 3 is in fallback mode.
My laptop is a Dell Precision M6400 which is around 4 years old.
The question is if there is anything I can do to get Gnome 3 running, or if my graphics card and/or driver is just too old to run Gnome 3?
