I can't detect the right wireless network

Hi.
My problem is my desktop PC with fedora 17 and kde which I can't detect the wireless network with WPA in home to access internet. I live in a student residence and the only INTERNET available is a network wireless with WPA. I plugged a wireless USB adapter Digitech and fedora didn't have problem to start working automatically with it. But when I want to connect with the network of the residence just one network (from 3) is detected and it is not the internet connection.
I had ubuntu 12 installed before which detected the right network but never worked with WPA security system. So, I changed to fedora and KDE to try connecting to the network but i find problems again :(

With my laptop (with windows 7) I don't have problems to detect and access to this wireless network.

(Sorry, for my English I am Chilean student)

Regards
