Totem plays video at high speed when the audio output is set to HDMI audio

Hi

I have a ATI Radeon 5450 graphics card and it is connected to the monitor using a VGA cable. It is also connected to an external LCD tv using HDMI cable. When I play a movie in Totem player in the monitor, it plays fine. If I change audio>settings>output to Manhattan HDMI Audio to direct the output to the HDMI cable, the video in Totem player plays at double the original speed! How can I fix this? I haven't installed any custom ATI graphics package! Just wondering if it could solve that issue

Regards,
Anish

Okay, I installed kmod-catalyst for F16. Now, when I play the video in totem, it redirects the output to the HDMI cable and video is played at a normal speed. I got another issue

1) AMD unsupported hardware watermark at the bottom right
2) I cant make the monitor as my primary display. If my lcd tv is ON, then the top panel, hot corner everything will is be displayed in the lcd tv instead of the monitor!

So i decided to uninstall kmod-catalyst!

uninstalled kmod-catalyst and rebooted! The balloon fills up and suddently the display went blank!

I reinstalled mesa-libGL but still I get a black screen after reboot! How can I fix it now?
