Last kernel update seems to be causing my computer to freeze up intermittently. I first thought it might be Cinnamon, which I was trying out. Also suspected Chrome browser, but then I got a kernel "event" immediately after boot up. I backed up to the last kernel and am not experiencing it there. Not sure what I should do to remedy. The kernel event message comes up, I click on it, and it closes. Please instruct.

Hmm...not enough information? I'm using F-17 64-bit. Two HDs, dual boot with Win 7. The freeze doesn't happen in Win 7. I tested memory there and no problems were found. The problem occurs, on average, ~10 minutes after boot. I don't know how bug reports work. Is there something I must do upon receiving a notification of a kernel event?
